Detailed itinerary:
Day 1-3: Xakanaxa area
Departure from Maun around 13:30, in high season, a charter flight is included from Maun to Moremi. In off season (Jan – March & Dec) a road transfer is included to Moremi and departure from Maun is around 08:00.
The first 3 nights are spent in the Xakanaxa region of Moremi Game Reserve. The Xakanaxa area is home to large herds of buffalo, about 4 lion prides and resident wild dogs, wildlife is abundant here and game viewing is excellent.
Day 4-6: Khwai area
The Khwai River separates the Moremi Game Reserve from the community area, staying in the community area we explore the floodplains of the Khwai on game drives. Being outside the park we are allowed to do night drives as well as walking safaris here which gives guests a unique look at the African bush. Mokoro trips are also on offer depending on water levels of the Khwai River.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast we depart for the airstrip where a charter flight will take guests back to Maun. Out of season departures take a road transfer to Maun to be back around midday.
